The Danish Market Development Fund grants Cold Flood Prevention

In the fall of 2016, Cold Flood Prevention received grants from the Danish Market Development Fund, who provides co-funding to innovative companies in the final product development stages to help bring cutting-edge products to the market faster. The grant was given based on the mobile flood barrier’s unique construction, effectiveness in preventing flooding and the huge commercial potential in preventing flooding around the world.

With the grant, Cold Flood Prevention has initiated a five-year project with the Market Development Fund to test and adapt the Cold Flood Prevention system in the Asia Pacific region where flooding is an ever-increasing challenge with devastating humanitarian and economic impacts.
